The glute muscles are the strongest and most powerful muscles in the body. They all work together to help stabilize your pelvis and keep your hips and knees aligned. We tend to sit a lot which puts our hip flexors in a shortened and tight position. This also causes our glutes to become lengthened. Overtime, this can mess with the way these muscles are activated. This lack of activation can cause issues throughout your entire body – other muscles will work harder to compensate for the lack of firing in your glutes.
